Ensuites come in two flavours: the developer-fitted ensuite from the 1990s or 2000s that's now tired and cramped, and the brand-new ensuite carved out of a loft or a large bedroom. Both start with the same question — where can the waste go? We look at the soil stack, the joist direction and the available fall before any layout is drawn, so the plan is realistic from day one.
Layout is planned through our bathroom design service, and small-room tactics do most of the work: a wall-hung WC and vanity, a walk-in shower or a wet room floor instead of a boxy enclosure, a large mirror, a single tile format and lighting that makes the room feel bigger than it is. Where you'd like a bath in a master ensuite, we'll plan a freestanding or built-in tub alongside the shower.
Most ensuite renovations are finished within two weeks; a new ensuite with fresh drainage and electrics is usually two to three. Ensuites are often fitted as part of a wider bathroom installation or renovation project across Sunningdale, Ascot, Sunninghill and Virginia Water.
